evaluating the impact of climate change on runoff using hydrological model (case study: bazoft-samsami watershed)
Authors
abstract
increasing greenhouse gases in recent decades and increasing its resulting temperature has causes the imbalance of the earth’s climate system and widespread climate changes in most regions of earth planet. development strategic policy in this area has been forced with a big challenge because of the need for water in the central region on the one hand and water resource constraints on the other hand. in this study, first, wetspa rainfall-runoff model was calibrated for bazoft-samsami watershed as one of the important sub-basins of karun basin. then, values of temperature and precipitation for future period were downscaled based on climate change scenarios with atmospheric general circulation model outputs (hadcm3) for three scenarios of a1b, a2 and b2 using lars-wg model. then, to simulate the basin runoff, data were introduced to wetspa model. the results verified the performance of lars-wg model in estimating rain and temperature. also, the results showed that runoff in statistical periods of 2011-2040 and 2071-2100 compared with observation period in all three scenarios has increased %8.86 and %4.83, respectively, and has decreased in 2041-2070 to the amount of %7.25. this subject indicates the impact of climate change on runoff in mid-term future period in studied watershed. so, considering the obtained results, the policy of programming in order to adapt to climate change is necessary in bazoft-samsami watershed.

Simulation of the climate change impact on monthly runoff of Dez watershed using IHACRES model
Identification and analysis of flow fluctuations in consequences of climate change is one of the most important factors in water resources management planning and this is vital especially in areas where large crowds are engaged in agriculture. Dez watershed, as an agricultural hub in the country, is one of areas that river flow fluctuations caused by climate change can affect a large population...
full textEvaluation of Climate Change Impacts on Hydrological Characteristics of Watershed (Case study: Aji- Chai Watershed)
Studying climate change impact on hydrological variables such as runoff has attracted more attention over recent years mainly due to the imposed imbalance in climate system by greenhouse gas emission. Hence, initially in this research, the trend and abrupt changes of hydro – climatic variables were studied using data mining approaches in 18 stations over 40 years (1972-2011) in Aji-Chai waters...
full textFuture climate change impact on hydrological regime of river basin using SWAT model
Hydrological components in a river basin can get adversely affected by climate change in coming future. Manipur River basin lies in the extreme northeast region of India nestled in the lesser Himalayan ranges and it is under severe pressure from anthropogenic and natural factors. Basin is un-gauged as it lies in remote location and suffering from large data scarcity. This paper explores the imp...

the aim of this thesis is an approach for assessing insurer’s solvency for iranian insurance companies. we use of economic data with both time series and cross-sectional variation, thus by using the panel data model will survey the insurer solvency.
Estimating the Available Water in the Watershed using System Dynamics Hydrological Model (Case Study: Ilam Watershed)
Hydrological models provide water managers with the available amount of water in the watershed. In this paper, we firstly developed a system dynamics model to calculate the available amount of water in the watershed. Then, we defined two scenarios one of which is the development scenario describing how land use changes can affect water availability in the watershed. Next, we divided the watersh...
